Kit Batten Lecture

Kit Batten is the science Advisor in the Office of the Deputy Secretary, US Department of the Interior. She is also the former Director of Environmental Policy at the Center for American Progress, and has worked for Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) where she was a legislative Assistant on climate change, energy, transportation, and agricultural policy. She has served as an American Association for the Advancement of Science Fellow in the office of Sen. Joseph Lieberman (I-CT) where she worked on climate change legislation, energy policy, land conservation and management, fisheries policy, and Endangered Species Act reauthorization.
