Lactation Rooms
These rooms have has been made available for the University community and visitors.
While the primary use of these rooms are for lactation purposes, the IPVCC has noted that publicly available lactation rooms can be used for reflection spaces or for medical use, if no other rooms/spaces in the building are designated for that use. The first priority should be for lactation purposes; these lactation rooms may be reserved for use, please respect the scheduling system for each room. CSU can restrict access to these facilities should the room be used in a way other than its stated purposes.

SCHEDULING ROOMS WITH OUTLOOK CALENDAR:
CSU currently utilizes the Outlook Calendar to schedule many of the lactation rooms. This is designed so that nursing parents with work and/or class schedules can locate and reserve a room that fits their routine. Each room should remain unlocked at all times unless in use and no formal key request is required.
- To begin scheduling a lactation room, log into your Outlook Email.
- When you know what date/time you want to schedule a lactation room, click on the Calendar icon.
- To begin scheduling a specific lactation room, navigate to the Home tab then click on New Appointment.
- In the new window, navigate to the Appointment tab then click on Scheduling Assistant.
- On the scheduling assistant page, click Add Rooms.
- Scroll down until you see rooms titled “Fac RM Lactation [name of building]” then click on the room(s) you want to check availability for. Once you have selected the room(s) you want to view, click Rooms and then select OK.
- Scroll through the calendar and highlight the time and date you would like to schedule a room.
- Under the Room Finder tab and “Choose from an available room:” section, select the room you would like to schedule.
- Once you have selected a time/room number and are ready to submit your request, click Send and Send Anyway.
- You should receive a confirmation email within a few minutes stating if your request was accepted or denied.

Canvas Stadium, Alumni Center Room 304A: On gamedays, hours of availability match the Alumni Center hours: opening begins 4 hours before kick-off and ends one-half hour before kick-off. For more information on use and scheduling of this room throughout the week, please contact the Smith Alumni Center Information Desk at 491-6533.
Canvas Stadium, Parents Lounge/Lactation Room, behind Section 138: Available during gamedays and select stadium events. For questions, contact building proctor.

Student Recreation Center: Lactation rooms are shared with the massage rooms and can be scheduled by calling Student Recreation Center Customer Service Center at 970-419-6359 (press 9 when prompted) or by stopping by the CSU Student Recreation Center Service Center. Veterinary Teaching Hospital: Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Room B113C: There are a total of 3 lactation spaces in room B113C and they are reserved for employees only. Contact Christine Webb at the VTH reception desk 970-297-1269, or Kathie Sexton at 970-297-0382.
