Urgent Campus Communications
To improve communication regarding campus outages and road closures, Facilities Management is partnering with CSU Marketing & Communications and the Division of University Operations to provide notifications through the existing campus Everbridge system CSUALERT. CSUALERT has an opt-in process to allow campus employees, faculty and students to opt in or out of notifications.
The CSUALERT system will allow the Division of University Operations and Facilities Management to communicate to campus regarding issues that may impact more than just a specific building or area on campus, for example a campus elevator outage, street closure adjacent to CSU, a CSU or City of Fort Collins water main break where traffic is being rerouted, etc.
Facilities Management’s outage and street/sidewalk closure notifications will continue to be posted to the Construction Alerts page on the Facilities Management website.
Questions related to this announcement can be directed to Lori Barker for assistance at lori.barker@colostate.edu or 970-491-0056.
To opt-in for alerts from the University text the word CSUALERT to 888777.
Informational Campus Communications
Colorado State University this fall is implementing a new method of advising the University community through text notifications about service issues, outages, and other infrastructure issues that may have an impact on students, employees, and visitors. These messages will be shared via the Everbridge system.
To opt-in to receive these messages, text CSUINFO to 888777. You will be able to receive notifications about elevator outages, parking lot closures, major road or sidewalk issues and more.
