Southeast entry of Clark C-Wing including surrounding concrete sidewalk area closed
Dates: May 18th – August 7th
The southeast entrance to Clark C-Wing will be closed, along with all the concrete paved area around this entrance. People from the Animal Sciences parking lot will not be able to access the Center Avenue Mall from this area.

Isotope Drive and entrances to Engineering B-Wing and Physics closed
Dates: May 18th – June 6th
Isotope Drive closed to pedestrians, bicyclists and vehicular traffic in this area. Isotope Drive will also be closed to vehicular traffic from Oval Drive to the Lory Student Center.

Roads & Parking
Plum Street closed on the north side of Engineering Parking Lot 310 between Rockwell Hall and Allison Hall
Dates: May 18th – July 10th
The ADA parking spaces typically in the west parking area will be temporarily moved during this outage.

This outage is to install an accessible ramp from Allison Hall to the Engineering Parking Lot 310 as well as update the sidewalk on the east side of the transit center for improved accessibility.

Meridian Avenue closed from Hughes Way north to Plum Street and University Avenue closed near Hartshorn

Sidewalks and crosswalks at the intersection of Meridian Avenue and University will be closed during this time. Follow pedestrian detour signs.

Dates: July 27th – July 31st
This street will be closed along with adjacent sidewalks. Vehicular traffic and buses will be routed through the LSC parking lot to/from Laurel Street near Meldrum Street. Select the map below to view the closure area and detour routes.

LONG TERM: Glover Building and surrounding area closed
Dates: October 20, 2025 – Summer 2028
This closure is to demolish the Glover Building, construct the new Don and Susie Law Engineering Future Technologies Building, and accommodate construction mobilization.
The site around the Glover Building is closed for construction. The majority of the Water Plaza area to the east of the building is closed. The pedestrian path to the west of the Wagar Building will remain open, along with the pedestrian path on the south side of the Water Plaza north of the Michael Smith Natural Resources Building and the Computer Sciences Building. Isotope Drive between the Glover Building and the Engineering Building will remain open. The portion of the Center Avenue Mall immediately west of the Glover Building will be closed. Pedestrians can use the walkway on the east side of the Lory Student Center.

Long-Term Impact
LONG TERM: Outage for Allison Hall
Dates: May 19, 2025 – May 2027
Due to construction activities, Allison Hall will be closed from May 19, 2025 through May 2027. Other areas affected by this outage include Green Hall, Rockwell Hall, and Scott Bioengineering.
There will be a pedestrian and bicyclist detour route encompassing this area from Laurel Street at the north point of Allison Hall’s construction closure near Parking Lot 170, along the sidewalk on the east side of Scott Bioengineering, turning west on the path between Scott Bioengineering and Green Hall. The detour continues along the west side of Green Hall to Meridian Avenue, turns east on Plum Street, and extends back around the Allison Hall construction site along the east side of the closure south of Rockwell West and back to Laurel Street.

LONG TERM: Parking Lot #172 near Allison Hall closed
Dates: April 28, 2025 – May 2027
Allison Hall South Parking Lot 172 will be closed from April 28, 2025 through May 2027.
Reason for outage: Allison decommissioning activities beginning April 28, 2025.
